Holiday Break is Over, Back to School and Reality

Published by juliebmack at 9:16 am under Teaching Edit This

Time FliesThe holidays always seem to fly by and then January hits and so does reality.  Ever break, many teachers have good intentions to be prepared for the next semester and maybe even working a little over the break.  Some may not use that time and just relax and enjoy the break.  Either way, the break always flies by for teachers, students, and parents!  I think the older you get, the faster time goes by.  How can we enjoy the time, be productive, and still feel prepared for a new year?

Well, the first step is to realize we have no control over time, only what we do with this time.   The second step is the come up with a plan and try to stick with it.  Don’t get too distracted and try and stay focused.  Lastly, realize in the end, it will always work out.  Being the queen of procrastination, I know this.  I just have to work a little harder when time creeps up and a new year begins.

I hope all of the teachers and parents enjoyed the holiday break and are prepared to tackle a new year!
